Losing Faceby Ros Jackson1. Jade is still in the clinic, this time in the lab room with all the phials, etc, and she is still wearing the white shift. She is using a videophone. On the screen we can see a man in a navy suit. He`s fortyish, balding and chubby.JADE : RICKY. IT'S JADE GOLDBOROUGH HERE. LOOK, I KNOW THIS SEEMS UNUSUAL... RICKY ( jag ) : WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? JADE : IT`S ME, JADE. I'M IN A BIT OF A FIX. 2. A closer view of the videophone. Standing beside Ricky is a new Jade, wearing the first Jade`s clothes of the night before as well as her face from the previous night. She also wears a hat to cover the hair that would have fallen out during the transformation. NEW JADE ( jag ) : WHO'S THAT? RICKY : SHE SAYS SHE'S YOU, JADE. NEW JADE ( jag ) : JUST ANOTHER LOONY, THEN. 3. The videophone is being turned off by New Jade / Sophie Porter. We can just see her reaching for the off switch as the image darkens around the edges. The original Jade is staring forlornly at the screen. FX : CLICK 4. Madsen and Spider are at the entrance to the clinic, with their guns out, ready for a fight. Spider is kicking open the front door. FX : THWAM! 5. Spider and Madsen have entered the lab room and are pointing guns at Jade. She`s seated beside the videophone which is off. Her hands are raised defensively and she looks terrified. JADE : WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT? SPIDER : YOU KNOW WHY WE`RE HERE, DOCTOR BRENTFORD. YOU`VE BEEN RUMBLED, PORTER. 6. Jade is now standing. She has her hands open in front of her as though she is trying to reason with them, and it's obvious that she's very afraid. JADE : I'M NOT DOCTOR BRENTFORD. YOU`VE GOT THE WRONG PERSON! 7.Spider shoots her twice in the chest. FX : BLAM BLAM 8.Jade is lying dead on the ground, a red stain pooling over her white shift. Madsen and Spider are taking in the scene. SPIDER : THE CLIENT WARNED ME SHE'D BE SLIPPERY, MADSEN. MADSEN : YOU NOTICE SOMETHING, THOUGH. THIS IS A GENE CLINIC. ARE YOU SURE WE GOT THE RIGHT ONE?
